Katherine Stucky is an experienced marketing professional and event planner with a demonstrated history of working in the media production and fashion industries. Skilled in Marketing, Social Media, Advertising, Graphic Design, Public Relations, and Copywriting. Strong creative with a Bachelor of Art of Journalism and Mass Communication focused in Graphic Design and Visual Communications from the University of South Carolina.

After graduation, she went on to work in Corporate Communications and Public Relations for Chico’s FAS. During her time there, her primary responsibilities were designing graphics, copywriting, event planning, and managing the Company’s LinkedIn pages. Katherine was in charge of creating all visual print and digital assets for their internal communications and corporate events. She worked to develop relationships with local and national media outlets as well as planning the company’s executive positioning strategy.

Following her time at Chico’s FAS, Katherine went on to become an Event Coordinator with Smart Business Network based out of Cleveland, Ohio. There she is responsible for event logistics and assistance in generating attendance for their network of corporate conferences. She assisted with their 2020 initiative as they switched to digital events, building and designing the event platforms. Another one of the new initiatives she worked on was launching a podcast series that she would edit and publish. As part of the podcast and event promotion, Katherine created and incorporated a company social media strategy to grow and better engage with their audience. More recently, she has taken the initiative on managing their email lists and partnerships. In addition, Smart Business publishes books that she would help illustrate and design the layouts for.
